Few possess such depths of compassion, strength and clarity of purpose as Kayla Mueller.
Kayla consistently, humbly and courageously served those around her and, in so doing, changed their lives. If she were alive today, she would be supporting others and standing for the Syrian people to have their rights, safety and dignity.
Our comfort comes from knowing that Kayla possessed a deep spiritual strength that we are sure only grew during her captivity. We will remember her joyfully and lovingly in the Northern Arizona mountains, opening her heart to everyone in the world.
